The Art of Balance in Life (It's All About Your Plan)

The art of balance in life has always been a great challenge for me personally. Balance is the elusive butterfly in life. There are times it is there and then in a moment it is gone.

This is normal. It happens.

I believe the first step to achieving balance is to study your quality of life.

I try to make every major decision with my personal and family quality of life in mind. How will this affect me? How will this affect my family? Be realistic though. Do you like to shop? Do you like nice stuff? Do you like to travel? Do you like a nice car? Do you want to live in a nice house? All of these questions and more can and will affect your definition of balance.

I am lucky. I love what I do for a living. I have learned how to make enough money to live the life I have always dreamed of.

If you want all the things that you want, you have to be willing to work for them. I believe that personal burnout and a lack of balance occurs when we are stagnant. You have to be productive. You have to keep moving. You have to keep learning.

Organize your life on a page and set your priorities to success and happiness, set your goals and let nothing get in the way. To me that is balance.

Keep in mind that every now and again you need to shut it all down and be a child. Sing, dance, and have fun. Have a hobby that takes you away from it all and grounds you as it prepares you for the next month of activities.

Balance comes easy to those who plan and work the plan. Preparation is the major key to this one. Make the best use of your time. All time is quality time and it should be used wisely.

Time is the fabric of your life. Make it matter.

To your success,
